The Technician is likely to have a university degree or Btec qualification. All Technicians receive internal and possibly additional external training to help them maintain accuracy, understand the need for precision in standard operating procedures and the importance of quality and turnaround commitments.

The Pharmacist
The Pharmacist may contribute toward the formulation of products and is on hand to offer advice and technical support in the manufacturing environment and ultimately to check the quality and documentation of the final product and to release for final despatch to the customer.

ACSM Members’ dedicated customer service staff are able to respond efficiently to enquiries about individually made Special medicines. A registered Pharmacist or Pharmacy Technician will be available to answer technical queries and give advice on formulation and dosage options.
QA's look at systems, procedures and standards across each of the companies to make sure that all products are made in compliance with good manufacturing practice and so that medicines are supplied to patients with a minimum of risk.
